In recent years, ESG has no longer been a foreign concept to Enterprises in Vietnam. Many organizations have begun to focus on sustainable development, social responsibility, emission reduction, and more transparent governance. However, the greatest challenge lies not in “knowing what ESG is,” but in how to integrate ESG into actual operations.
Many Enterprises begin their ESG journey with reporting. This is a necessary step, but it is not enough. If ESG only appears at the end of a reporting period, it will be difficult for the enterprise to see the changes occurring every day. ESG needs to be activated through small actions: saving electricity, reducing waste, greener commuting, caring for employee health, engaging with the community, and improving the work environment.
The important thing is that each of those actions needs to be recorded. When data is collected correctly, Enterprises can understand how employees are participating, which campaign is effective, which activities create a clear impact, and which areas need improvement. This is when ESG ceases to be a slogan and becomes a measurable system of action.
With iWE, ESG is approached in a more accessible way: starting with people, behavior, and participation. Enterprises can design a campaign, invite employees to participate, record results, and track impact over time. Consequently, ESG becomes a part of the organizational culture, rather than an isolated task for the reporting department.
A good ESG program does not need to start on a massive scale. The important thing is to start correctly, with clear goals, measurement methods, and genuine participation from the internal community.
